Tradition

Image
This week, the eighth grade helped the fifth grade facilitate Las Posadas, which is a re-enactment of Mary and Joseph’s pilgrimage to Bethlehem.  They prayed to make room in their hearts for the coming of Jesus, enjoyed churros, sang a traditional song, presented paper candles to our Nativity, and broke open piñatas full of candy!  This will be a tradition we continue to celebrate at HCA.
We will celebrate other traditions next week like our traditional milk and cookies and special full school pizza lunch.
Reminders:Please send in your pizza money.  Friday the 20th will be free dress for the students.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
