8th grade news
Eighth grade students are working hard as this quarter comes to a close...
Some notes and reminders:
There is an on-going Green/White competition in middle school this month. Teams are asked to fill the containers below with tabs. The first team to fill their container wins 500 points for their team. The tabs will be donated by first grade to the Ronald McDonald House. As we hear at dismissal every day, bring in your tabs!
There is a tag day on Veterans Day, Monday November 11. For $1.00, students can wear red, white and blue. The money collected from the tag day will be donated towards the Pets for Vets program.
Conferences will be held next week on Thursday evening and Friday morning. Friday November 18 is a holiday for students.
HCA is collecting items for the Thanksgiving baskets. Eighth grade has been asked to bring in 2 boxes of pancake mix and 2 bottles of syrup. Items are due on November 22 and delivery of baskets will be Sunday November 24. Eighth grade students will also help to bake the pies for the baskets on Friday the 22.
